Gnar Gnar

Other wise known as: Gnar, Class V plus, Very Turbulant water

"Paddling the Gnar Gnar today was not a good idea, we had to walk out after I broke my paddle."

Gnar Gnar (or sometimes just called "the Gnar") refers to a continuous class V or higher section of whitewater. It is recognizable by having minimal eddies or non ariated water for long sections. The consequences for making a mistake are bad. People that commonly paddle the Gnar Gnar are commonly called "Hair Boaters".
