The definition - A combination of a Blunt followed immediately with a 180 clean spin.

How To -

Prep - To do this move you will need a boat that is extremely loose and is easy for you to blunt. This move is a combination of the blunt and clean spin so you will need to have both of those moves nailed before you start working on the super blunt, but once you have those down and you are ready to start stepping it up this is the move for you. There really is no better feeling than throwing a huge blunt, slamming back onto the water, and holding your paddle over your head as you finish skipping across the wave.

Step 1 - The Blunt - (1) Work yourself up to the top of the wave and accelerate down. Make sure you have a lot of speed built up but you are not in the trough of the wave yet. If you wait until you are in the trough of the wave before you throw the blunt you will lose all momentum and will not be able to clean spin out of it without washing off of the wave.

(2,3) Be sure to throw a big blunt or the trick will not be half as impressive and you still need enough momentum built up to clean spin out of it.


Weight over left cheek	Keep the boat flat	Almost there	Ahhh Yeahhhh

Step 2 -The Clean - (4) As soon as you land the blunt you will need to make sure that your boat in fairly flat, if it isnÕt you will end up digging your edge in and blowing off. Now as soon as you land (if you are doing a left blunt) switch your weight over to your left butt cheek, this will flatten out your boat and allow you to clean out of your blunt. Be sure not to switch so much weight that you catch an edge and blow off the wave, but if you still have all your weight on the opposite butt cheek your boat will not be flat enough to clean.

(5,6) So now that you have that down when you land the blunt put your paddle over your head, keep it together and clean it up.

(7) After coming around so that you are face back up stream its time to let out a shout and maybe try on of those darn Aerial Flip Turns...

You can turn your super blunt into a 360, 540, 1080 (it is just the degrees of rotation, after the blunt, while doing a clean spin). You can also make it an Air Super Blunt just by mixing a little air in with your blunt. This move takes a lot of patience and absolutely sucks to learn with a packed eddy line but rules as soon as you land your first one.
