Definition
- Riding up a transition and
turning 90 degrees as to place your trucks on the coping. Stall
it out, then turn 90 degrees back into the ramp and ride away to
your screaming fans waiting.
Prep
- Find the ramp your going to destroy,
size it up and 50-50 stall it.
Step
1 -
Ride up to the ramp with enough speed to reach the coping, but not
with too much speed as to fly over the ramp. This takes a couple
of tries to get the speed right.
Step
2 - After you have the speed set right
itŐs time to hook your trucks on the coping. The best way to do
this is to ride straight up the ramp, lift your front trucks right
before they hit the coping, ride a wheelie until your back trucks
hit the coping.
Step
3 -
When you feel your back trucks lock in it is time to turn 90 degrees.
The best way to do this is to keep your weight balanced on the back
truck, stand up on it and pivot the 90 degrees on just the back
truck.
Step
4 -
You should now be turned the right way on the coping but you are
in a 5-0. Place your front trucks on the coping and stand up straight.
Step
5 -
Time to drop back in. Place your weight on the back truck again,
pivot your truck the continuation of the 180 degrees back into the
ramp.
Step
6 - Stay centered over your board,
place your trucks on the transition, lean forward and ride away.
