Dump
Other
wise known as: snowfall, the
big dump
“We gotta
go ride tomorrow, it is suppose to dump at least six inches.
C’mon, please Mom?”
Dump is a term used to describe an amount of fresh snow
that has or will fall.
Most always riders are excited by a good dump because that
means lines that were previously tracked out are now fresh
again. It also means that any non park hits will have soft
landings again instead of the icy hard pack that develops
after sessioning a jump for a period of time.
The negative aspects of a good dump are that you have to
break trail again on any trail that already had a good boot
pack and the roads and highways will suck right afterward.
The big dump refers to the biggest amount of snow that will
fall for that season. Some seasons have a few good big dumps
while some seasons have none and usually suck because of
it.

we miss something? Do you have any suggestions for others?
