I-Beam
Other
wise known as:
“This board
is built with an I-Beam to provide better rigidity and adds
more pop, and it will cost you an extra $100.”
An I-Beam is a strip of material that is put into the core of a snowboard that
runs from tip to tail. The addition of the I-Beam in a snowboard can have
all sorts of different functions , according to the manufacturer. From my
experience they can give a board better pop or make a board stiffer.
