Runway

Other wise known as: lead in

“The runway was awesome until Jim ate it and put a big rut in the middle.”

The runway is the path from where you are going to drop in all the way to the base or the transition of the jump.

Normally you want to keep the runway as straight and wide as possible. When you are building a jump it is important not to forget to pack down a good runway. While you are sessioning the jump make sure to not dig ruts in the runway especially right before the jump by speed checking.
